The Value of Discovery Academy Camps
At the USF Discovery Academy, we know the benefits of the camp experience are priceless. USF Discovery Academy camps prevent summer learning loss, inspire new academic interests, and provide a healthy social environment for campers.
But both running a camp and registering for a camp have costs. We know each family has a budget, and we work as hard as we can to make our camps affordable for everyone.
USF Discovery Academy Scholarships
We offer full and partial scholarships for families that need financial assistance. Approximately ⅓ of our campers receive some aid. To apply for financial assistance:
- Please make an account.
- Navigate to the “Forms” page on the parent dashboard.
- Fill out and submit your scholarship application.
- After you have submitted your application, please wait for your award notification before registering your camper.
Note: It may take up to two weeks to process your scholarship application. Since spaces fill up quickly, we recommend applying as soon as possible.
Additional Financial Assistance for Campers
Many organizations offer financial assistance for camp. Your school district or religious organization might have funds set aside for camp. There may be funds available if family members have served in the military. And other civic organizations and clubs may have available funds set aside for camps.
